Any Questions?

  • Program Experience
  • Admissions
  • TETR TRIAL
What opportunities will I have to build my venture and gain professional experience during the program?

You will build your own venture in each term across Dubai, China, and Europe. As part of the program, students will also have the opportunity to complete a two month internship gaining first-hand experience with leading organizations around the world. The program aims to incorporate real-world experiences, fostering practical skills and global networking. Tetr has established partnerships with companies across various domains, offering students valuable hands-on practical experience. Our dedicated career support team is committed to assisting candidates in unlocking rewarding professional opportunities.

How are host countries selected?

Host countries are selected for their business strengths and learning value. Dubai, China, and Europe create three complementary business ecosystems. In Dubai, students build consumer brands by identifying the right product, designing packaging, and launching digital campaigns. In China, students scale products by prototyping, partnering with manufacturers, and launching on major e-commerce platforms. In Europe, students create experience businesses around themes like food, culture, or travel through marketing and content creation. This global journey teaches students to build, scale, and adapt businesses across diverse markets.

Does Tetr provide financial assistance?

Yes, 80% of our students benefit from financial aid. Tetr offers multiple need and merit-based scholarships. With our global banking partnerships, we ensure extensive financial support for all.

What support does Tetr offer for founders and professionals?

We have a personal career coach working with each candidate throughout the program to align their goals, whether they are building a startup or exploring roles. Builders receive venture check-ins, mentor and investor hours, support from customer discovery to MVP and go-to-market, and demo forums across Dubai, China, and Europe. Candidates exploring roles receive targeted coaching, resume and interview support, warm introductions to startups and growth companies, and access to live consulting stints during the year.

How is the year structured across countries?

The program is structured as a four-month term in Dubai, followed by three-month terms in China and Europe respectively. In each term, students spend months in the classroom - combining core courses, venture building, live consulting projects, and market immersions - followed by a two month internship with a leading firm at the end of your academic year. Every term culminates in a demo forum where students showcase their progress and outcomes.

What does the Tetr Trial entail?

The Tetr Trial is a 65 minute, multi-section evaluation designed to test logical, verbal, numerical, and creative reasoning in English and Maths. It combines a gamified section, a short video interview, verbal and quantitative reasoning, and an abstract writing task. Together, these measure business acumen, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Will I be able to take the Tetr Trial more than once?

No. The Tetr Trial can only be taken once.

What is the duration of the Tetr Trial?

The full assessment lasts 65 minutes, with sections ranging from 5 to 20 minutes each.

How can I prepare for the Tetr Trial?

The Tetr Trial is designed to be preparation-light. It evaluates thinking ability, creativity, and reasoning rather than rote knowledge. Familiarity with GMAT/GRE-style problem solving, critical reasoning, and reading comprehension may help, but applicants are not expected to use external prep material.

Are all questions weighted equally?

No. Each section is weighted differently, depending on what it measures. For example, the quantitative reasoning segment includes problem-solving and data interpretation, while the video interview focuses on communication, critical thinking, and business judgment.

What if I am not able to answer all the questions?

That is fine. The assessment is timed, and scoring reflects both speed and accuracy. Applicants should aim to answer as many questions as possible, but incomplete sections will not automatically disqualify them.

Can I lose points for answering questions incorrectly?

Yes. Correctness and speed both influence the final score. Incorrect answers can lower the outcome in quantitative and verbal sections.

Is there a specific number of answers needed to pass the test?

No. There is no fixed pass mark. The test provides a composite score across sections, which is reviewed alongside the full application.

Is there a break during the Tetr Trial?

No. The assessment is designed to be taken in one sitting without breaks.

What happens if my test gets blocked?

If there is a technical issue or interruption, applicants should immediately contact the Admissions Team. The system will flag the issue, and the team will assist with re-activation or guidance.

What happens if I have special educational needs?

Applicants with special needs can notify the Admissions Team in advance and provide documentation. Accommodations such as extra time or alternative formats may be arranged where appropriate.

How long does the Tetr application process take?

The initial registration is a 60 minute process, followed by The Tetr Trial lasting approximately 65 minutes. The final interview, which is an essential part of the process, typically lasts around 30 minutes.

Do I need to prepare for something before starting the application process?

No prior preparation is necessary before initiating the application. Our process is thoughtfully crafted to get to know you as an individual and assess your personality holistically.

Do I need the GMAT/GRE?

No, GMAT or GRE scores are not required for admission to the PG program. Tetr uses the Tetr Trial as the required assessment.
If you already have a strong GMAT or GRE score, you may submit it only to be considered for the GMAT/GRE Excellence Scholarship. Submitting a score does not provide any advantage in admissions and does not replace the Tetr Trial.

Who should apply (eligibility)?

We welcome ambitious graduates from all academic backgrounds who have completed their undergraduate program and are eager to take their careers global. Applicants should be fluent in English and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial learning environment.

Do I receive a degree at the end of the PG year?

You will receive the Masters in Management of Technology Degree after the 12 month program. The degree partner for this program is UBI Business School.
