Refund Policy - Young Business Leaders Program

  • 1. Introduction

    These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") delineate the contractual agreement governing the submission and management of student deferral fees (hereinafter referred to as "Deferral Fee" or "Deposit") by prospective students (hereinafter referred to as "Student," "you," or "your") to Tetr College of Business (hereinafter referred to as "Tetr," "we," "us," or "our"). By remitting your Deferral Fee to Tetr, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

  • 2. Definitions

    For the purpose of these Terms, the following definitions shall apply:

    2.1 Deferral Fee: Refers to the non-refundable initial payment submitted by the Student to Tetr to secure an offer of admission and reserve a place in a specific academic program and intake year.
    2.2 Student: Refers to the individual who has received an offer of admission from Tetr College of Business and has submitted the Deferral Fee.
    2.3 Official Intake Year: Refers to the academic year in which the Student is scheduled to commence their program of study at Tetr College of Business.
    2.4 Withdrawal: Refers to the formal notification by the Student of their decision not to enroll or continue with their program of study at Tetr College of Business.

  • ‍ 3. Deferral Fees and Charges

    3.1 Deferral Fee Structure: To secure an offer of admission and reserve a place in their respective programs, Students are required to submit a Deferral Fee as follows:
      Undergraduate Programs: USD $7,500
      Postgraduate Programs: USD $5,000

    3.2 Refundability: The Deferral Fee is fully refundable only if a formal Withdrawal request is submitted and received by Tetr College of Business at least six (6) months prior to the commencement of the Student's Official Intake Year. Beyond this stipulated period, the Deferral Fee becomes non-refundable.

  • 4. Refund Policy

    4.1 Conditions for Full Refund: A full refund of the Deferral Fee will be issued exclusively if the Student formally withdraws their application and notifies Tetr College of Business in writing at least six (6) months before the start date of their Official Intake Year.
    4.2 Withdrawal and Refund Request Process: To initiate a Withdrawal and request a refund of the Deferral Fee, the Student must submit a formal written request to the Admissions Committee. This request must clearly state the reason for withdrawal and include any pertinent supporting documentation. The request should be sent to yblp@tetr.org
    4.3 Refund Processing Time: Approved refund requests will be processed within thirty (30) business days from the date of receipt of the complete written request and all required supporting documentation. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon by Tetr College of Business.
    4.4 Forfeiture of Deferral Fee: Failure to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined herein, particularly regarding the timely submission of Withdrawal requests, will result in the forfeiture of the Deferral Fee. In such cases, the Deferral Fee will not be refunded.

  • 5. Communication

    5.1 Acknowledgement of Fee Receipt: Upon successful submission of the Deferral Fee, an official acknowledgment and receipt will be dispatched to the Student's registered email address. It is the sole responsibility of the Student to ensure that the provided email address is current, active, and regularly monitored.
    5.2 Updates to Contact Information: Students are obligated to promptly inform Tetr College of Business's administration office of any changes to their personal contact information, including but not limited to email addresses, postal addresses, and telephone numbers.

  • 6. Confidentiality and Data Protection

    6.1 Data Protection: Tetr College of Business is committed to safeguarding the privacy and confidentiality of all Student information. All personal data collected will be processed and protected in strict accordance with applicable data protection laws and Tetr's Privacy Policy.
    6.2 Non-Disclosure: Students agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information received from Tetr College of Business during the application or enrollment process. Such information shall not be disclosed to third parties without the prior express written consent of Tetr.

  • ‍7. Miscellaneous Provisions

    7.1 Amendments to Terms: Tetr College of Business reserves the unilateral right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time. Any such amendments will be communicated to Students through official channels, and the revised Terms will become effective upon publication.
    7.2 Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire and exclusive agreement between Tetr College of Business and the Student concerning the Deferral Fee, superseding all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and understandings, whether oral or written.
